Superior Institutions of Science and Technology

SIST offers Bachelor's and Master's programmes in Computer Science, Business Administration and Information Systems. The Bachelor's degrees SIST provides are three year programmes based on the British educational system.

However, SIST also offers a foundation year to prepare our students to the University of Sunderland curriculum. During this foundation year, students will be exposed to intensive literature and technical English courses and to basic business and computer knowledge such as quantitative methods, study skills, introduction to information systems and computing, business core studies such as statistics, accounting and finance. We strive to satisfy the preliminary needs of our students who feel unconvinced about their English linguistic capabilities, and who need prerequisites for business and computer studies. The educational system of Supeior Institutions of Science and Technology (SIST) creates a very flexible learning environment, and we do adapt the foundation year to meet those specific requirements. We do not just prepare you to smoothly receive the academic world of Sunderland, but to make our students acquire the necessary knowledge to successfully pass the whole 4 year programme.
